I graduated from Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, Texas with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree from ABC in Educational Leadership. (I am on target to graduate this May 2013! Woohoo!!) I will be beginning my 16th year as a teacher this year with this being the beginning of my 12th year here at Lowery Road in the FWISD. I believe teaching to be more than just a profession; I consider it to be my calling.
I live in Burleson with my husband Kevin. I have one son, Cayden who is a 3rd grader this year in Burleson. I also have two stepdaughters McKenzie- a 4th grader- and Tianna- a Junior- in Crowley and a stepson Bryan who is a Senior in Mineral Wells. Additionally, we have a spunky cat named Mikey.
In my time outside of school I enjoy being involved in my church, surfing new ideas and projects on Pinterest, and being on the Board for the Burleson Boys and Girls Club as the Concessions Director.
